This mission is close to home. Actually, it's in our basement under the sanctuary.

 

It came from a desire to get more aligned with The Great Commandment and The Great Commission. This effort to serve Belmont supplements other local (BCO) and county efforts literally started as a single clothes closet. God met his promise from Malachi, added it to our annual Community Thanksgiving meal and has now made it a monthly offering to those in need.

 

We are blessed to serve between 20 and 40 families monthly and our Heavenly Father continues to grow and support it as we step further into faith with it.  Aside from member and community donations, the Storehouse is supported by member and community donations. We are grateful for the generosity and have watched Him grow it from two bags of clothes in a room to the entire basement beneath the sanctuary.
