ABOUT US

He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. For it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him.

Colossians 1:17-19

Jesus Christ
Senior Pastor

We absolutely believe that Jesus is the head of His Church and this church family. Our pastor, ministers, deacons, staff and members seek him first as Lord of our lives. It is HE that ministers to us. It is he that interceeds for us. It is he who leads and shepherds us. All Glory to God!

Bonnie Johnson
Minister of Music
Rex Adkins
Transitional Pastor

We are pleased to have Pastor Rex Adkins as our Transitional Pastor. We know that Our Lord has a great future in store for us and are delighted to have Rex ministering to us as we prepare for the next chapters at FBCB!

Donna Sutton
Church Secretary

Originally from Kentucky, Bonnie now calls North Carolina home.  Growing up on a farm, privileged to be part of a very close Christian family, she always knew music would be in her future.  From standing on a church altar table to sing at three years old, to undergraduate and graduate degrees in music, to work in professional theatre and then a call to seminary, her passion is the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now Hiring
Financial Secretary

We are so grateful to Teresa Tolbert for serving with us for nearly 30 years!! We hope you enjoy your retirement and those wonderful grandchildren! Thank you for all of your love, support and dedication!

Our Sunday service is not about the music or the people or the pastor. It's about Him.

It is about coming to the Throne of Grace.

We have a blend of traditional and contemporary music, specials and, yes, a choir. We sing for an audience of One and the message is biblical and gospel centered. There is nothing added or taken away.

As it should be.
